Incoming noob question!!
 

First of all, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tom, commonly referred to as Dester in most of the MMORPG's I play. I have played classic EQ a few times a while back, and I loved it, and I'm here now thanks to no other game being able to do this.

Now, my question. How do I move my camera around my character without him turning with it? Whenever I right click to move my camera, either my character moves or the camera becomes stuck(if I'm sitting). How do people make the "portraits" of themselves? Am I missing some sort of control or is it just other people taking the shot in first person?

Whoops, I see my problem, I forgot about f9. I tried using the f12 key for this.
