Unable to get journal for Shaman epic in EJ.
 

Is anyone else having an issue where the Spirit Sentinel in EJ won't give you a new journal to redo the CoM pages portion of the quest?

I turned in a completed journal earlier today and got the +faction and dialogue for the next piece of the quest but nothing I could say would get him to give me another journal.

I took 3-4 month break before I came back this weekend so if there was a patch that changed it please let me know. Also I believe that I'm using the correct dialogue.

These are the lines I tried to get the Spirit Sentinel to talk to me again:
"Am I a Heyokah?"
"I am Heyokah"
"How can we rub it out?"
"What about the city's demise"
"I will find how it all began"

None of that provoked any response from the Sentinel. Previously I believe I just had to say "I will find how it all began" to get another journal. I tried zoning, reloading, and gave it multiple attempts with each line of dialogue.

Just wondering if something changed or if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. I've done roughly 4-5 turn-ins for this portion of the quest and haven't had trouble until today. I currently con warmly to the Sentinel in EJ.

Also, made sure that I was not invisible as I've heard that can break the quest.

If you hail it from behind (targeted), does it look in your direction?

Someone might have bugged it. Maybe get a non-shaman friend to destroy it and try again with the repop...or write a petition.

Are you max faction? That happened to me once I hit max, I didn't notice that I was maxed and kept trying to get more journals

Are you at the correct Spirit Sentinel? There are two in EJ: one for final turn-in and one for journals/dire wolf/etc.

Thanks for the input but looks like it's bugged.

Won't respond to hails anywhere around it, my faction is only warmly so I have a ways to go, and I'm for sure at the right one at +1250, +300.

I already sent out a petition so I'll wait for a response, thanks again for the help!

As I say that, my last ditch effort to spam him work. Just kept spamming my hotkey running all around him and on the 4th prompt he turned around and gave me the book.

Not sure if it was dumb luck or his "quest radius" got way smaller but if anyone runs into the same issue, that's how I solved it. Spam the crap out of him. :)
