Original maps added to my server thru original disks?
 

Hi guys I don't know if this is the place to ask, but I've made my own server and I can play on it but its not exactly the same as eq back when I played from 99 to 2002. Now is it possible for me to use my original CDs and load the map files and npc models from those disks? Or do I have to do some like extreme formatting.

nilbog working on P99 since 2009ish? and its playable since 2010ish ... so ... go figure how long it will take you to remake a classic ~ luclin era server ;)

you have to basicly recreate every NPC, quest, items, stats and actualy would really have to redo combat calculations etc.

when you say maps do you mean in-game maps or are you talking about entire zone files?

This is a lot of work. Tbqh unless you are happy with just having empty zones etc you are better off just doing p99 :)
