Mobs should hit for max damage when sitting

Mobs should hit you for max damage when sitting no matter what. This is not the case on this server.

One example here from a 2001 druids grove post:
"Don't let them hit you...you may get stunned and lose 3 bubbles in a matter of seconds with even 2 or 3 of the mobs whacking at you (and they hit for max damage when you are sitting, so the first hit really hurts)."

http://www.thedruidsgrove.org/archive/eq/t-3946.html

Trying to find more info on this but its tough. Anyone else have any input on this?

(Wonder how many people are going to add me to their hit list for this one! roflmao ;x)

Posted this in here 8 months ago, no Nilbog response but someone did reply that this was working correctly at some point but was changed but unknown reasons.

I think there are some other mob damage calculations that are messed up too. On eqmac level 1 stuff all hits for more than 2 damage, where most of the mobs on p1999 hit for their level x2 until the 40's and 50's, or if undercons. Decaying skeletons with weapons or 2handers have also like 1 shotted me at level 1 on eqmac.
