Druid Charming
 

At level 23 I used befriend animal to charm a white con mammoth and attack yellow con mammoth. It would last pretty much the whole fight every time. I did this all the way to 24 with no problems. After I dinged 24, charm would no longer last more than 5 seconds. So I thought maybe I need to new 24 charm animals spell. So I get it and go back.. same thing. Charm will not last more than 5 seconds ever. I have tried it at least 20 times now. How can it last so much longer every time at 23 but never more than 5 seconds at 24?
