Iksar + Plate
 

How far into velious is the change to Plate for Iksars such as the Kunark armor?

Are Iksars able to wear plate at Velious launch or is it several months afterwards?

Iksar don't get to wear Kunark plate class armor.

Velious quest armor is straight up usable by iksar.

basically all the new armour in velious ignores the old limitation of iksar not wearing plate

AFAIK, no Kunark armor is changed to allow iksars to wear. We do get our own set of planar armor with the Hate/Fear 2.0 revamp, but it'll likely be fairly useless for established iksars since the velious quest armor will be better.

I seem to remember Iksar cultural armor on my SK back in the day, that wasn't plate I'm guessing? Or did they implement that further into Velious?

Imbued Cabilis Scale is currently in, a shaman in my guild named Xyllz can craft it. But, the stats are more geared towards Shamans, I think str+wis or something. Definitely is not plate though, just chain.

It may show up as the iksar plate graphic. Like fungi does, despite it being chain on every other class.

That makes more sense, I seem to remember boots at the very least having a platey sorta graphic.
