...but I am not quite sure. What is the level of douchebaggery on red compared to blue. Can someone who isn't all about pvp but like some from time to time have fun? Are there any mature guilds who are willing to take new players? What say ye?

What's your goal? If its to raid then red is the place to play.

I'd like to raid but I'm not a poopsocker. If I had to describe my playing style I'd say casual to semi serious but not hardcore. I like to play with people who are good at their classes but aren't hyper critical and don't have a fit when things to go their way. I play the game to have fun not to turn it into a second job.

no poopsocking on red, no variance and no KS rules. So you bring the muscles you need, kick the others away and take the mob.

Fits are thrown by a select few in every guild on every server in every game... learn who to ignore :-)

Other then the super offensive /ooc people are behaved about the same as blue.

Only gay thing is red pre-52 is incredibly dead, no grouping and little to no social interaction at all.

true... game doesnt really pick up til you re at everyone elses level, so have to bring a few friends with you to roll with or pick a class you can solo with. But the xp is reasonably easy untill you hit 51, so shouldnt take too long to get there.
