How can I get the old -school Shadowknight Harmtouch graphic and audio sound?
 

One of the things I thought was so awesome about harmtouch back in the day was the 'ZZZZZT' noise the harmtouch made, and the graphic looked sweet as well. Could anyone please tell me a way to modify it to where I can see these things?

I play this game for fun. I could care less about experience. I have a Troll Shadowknight, lol. -70% xp, I just enjoy killing stuff and being a nasty troll and shooting the breeze on vent with my friends to be honest, more than I care bout loot or xp. So please, if anyone has anything that could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wow, you have the same philosophy about the game that I do - and I also play a Troll SK who is level 15 :). I'd love to get the old-school effect you describe...alas I didn't play an SK back in the day so not sure what I'm missing.

It has to be possible...

Hopefully a gm or someone can assist with it. I had a dude who knew what he was talking about in-game (guildy) tell me it was possible.

It looks and sounds exactly like flame lick landing on a mob (pretty sure)

it was pretty badass. much better than the weak sauce version of the updated harmtouch, i have no idea why they dicked it up. yeah i do, they dicked the whole game up after luclin. sorry, strung out on snowballs, and i ahve a brainfreeze.......owwwww

Well they have both spells in the database I'm pretty sure. I wonder if they can just make a graphic/sound swap like that.

I wonder what the exact the exact flame lick spell file is, and what exactly the flame lick sound is, and then find out what exactly the necro lifetap sound and graphic is, and swap them like that. That'd be strange, seeing necromancers casting flame lick instead of lifetap would definitely be interesting.

I will add the HT graphics to my current list of spells that need fixed.

I don't know about the sound though.. Anyone know any current spells on P1999 that have the sound you speak of?

Kinda sounded like a stun iirc.

Also the pack regen spells are different too.. much love for teh SK's tho!
