I have pretty much suspended playing here until my girlfriend can play with me, and that is where the problem lies. I'm afraid to have her sign on her account at the same time as me because I don't want to have my level 20 banned. Is there a way to check to see if we can log on at the same time without getting our accounts banned? (Yes, I applied a few weeks back for the IP Exemption thing but I'm afraid to try it out because I heard of the ban thing)

You won't be banned for attempting to log on before your exemption is processed, it simply won't let you log on. If it doesn't let you log on, it hasn't been processed yet.

They do respond to your petition post, so keep an eye on it.

I get the IP message all the time, because I crash often when trying to switch to full screen mode, which means I'm LD when trying to log back in. I think you're OK. :)

I'm in the same boat.

My gf and I have two separate accounts, but I have yet to log on as the same time as her when we're both at my place for fear of being banned. Also waiting on a response to my IP exception petition.

PS: They are short(er) staffed right now. Please be patient.

I was just thinking that I might not have petitioned correctly, as I haven't seen a response in a while. Like the OP, I'm relieved to hear it just takes time for a response.

Yea and they love to play on the same machine too, they typically just tell the bf now cast thorns on me, and he does it, but she is right there next to him (slowly deflating) so it isn't boxing
