Questions about Jewelcrafting

I am currently around Skill 30 for jewel crafting, i can successfully make Silver Amber Rings. According to the wiki http://wiki.project1999.org/Jewelcrafting they should have a +2 to STR but said items have no stats, just the rings are created. Are they bugged or just jewelry in general bugged?

Dracosy is correct. You must use enchanted bars if you want to make stat jewelry...which is why Enchanters are the only ones who ever bother with JC.

ok, the recipe didn't say anything about them being enchanted, jsut said Silver bar and Amber. thanx for the info
