WTB noobie bard gear level 5+
 

Hello p99,

I'm an old EQ fart that hasn't seen Norrath in over 10years. I heard about p99 and immediately felt that familiar nostalgic burn. It's good to be back! (So Excited!!)

So I've made a little wood elf bard, she's loads of fun but I have all trash gear. Small cloth and rusty short sword, the whole kit and kaboodle of noob gear! So with all that I am wondering, if anyone can sell me gear/weapons that a level 5 bard can buy?

TL;DR. WTB gear for my level 5 bard. =)

Go to bard guild, buy vendor lute (stringed), horn (brass), drum (percussion), and flute (wind). That's all the gear you need until planar. If you save up some money, pick up MM battle Drums and Gypsy lute, then 5AC/55HP rings, then banded/bronze/lambent. Bards are less gear dependent than INT casters.

Yea, bards are crazy good at leveling with very little gear. You can basically take it to 60 with just vendor instruments.
