how many people keep their everquest addiction private?
 

Come on now... for anyone who spent over four hours playing this game daily, who seriusly tries to tell anyone. I remember being 15 and trying to convince people this game was great. When you try to explain Everquest to someone, least 10 years ago.... people looked at you oddly...

I play *maybe* once a week during busy terms and I still don't tell people I play EQ.

i dress up like my shadowknight when i go to the cheetos store for more rations i mean cheetos

Ye onetime a dude I worked with started started talking about Aion. I told him I played Everquest, he looked at me , like I had a disease... he was not convinced, i then was like oh jk

gf and a small handful of friends know i play.

Not really because i'm embarrassed, just that no one else would really care, so the people i've told are people that I tried to get to come play (only one did)

I would tell people, if I had human contact.

Funny you mention this... Back in the day my friends would get "crafty" in there methods to get me out of the house. I didn't talk about the game much but they knew my addiction.
Here's a few examples...

One time my friends pulled up... I will use my char name
ince my real name is no ones business on here :) "Hatelore get in the car dude" why? "Dude just get in the car you got shotgun" Fuck u why. "Hatelore... If you don't get in the car I swear to god you'll regret it" ok but why? " dude we are leaving get your shoes" So I run upstairs and quit out. I come outside and get in the car, they have 2 joints rolled with bible paper, that are about a foot long... And one of our cute friends topless ready to sit on my lap. That was a crazy night..

Another time they got an extension ladder and raided my room, about 20 people, hahaha. They got creative. But I'm still addicted! Even after marriage and kids.


Do I talk about the game much? No... I learned long ago peeps aren't interested in my dragon raids. Lol

And for the record, her toys were huge, and perfect, and it was a hell of a night. Haha

I dated a chick when i was 18. She hated my addiction. I finally got her to play ans got her addicted!!!! Dude for her birthday I got her 100k pp and would regularly get sexual favors from her for eq items. Was so boss back in the day haha
