Faerie

How was the show? :)

Faerie 06-26-2013 01:10 AM

I'll watch the first episode tonight. Been busy reading, but it's done downloading. 11 episodes in total, right?

Kagatob 06-26-2013 01:33 AM

Ya.

The entire show is character development/buildup.

Faerie 06-26-2013 02:12 AM

Yes, I can tell I'm going to like this :)

I get teary-eyed so easily lol.

It's the only show that made me feel sad in a good way. That's the only way I can describe it.

Fruits Basket didn't make you feel that way? Almost every episode of that show made me cry happy tears.

Kagatob 06-26-2013 02:29 AM

Never watched. I hardly watched shoujo back then, now it's about half of what I watch.

Faerie 06-26-2013 02:30 AM

I don't know what shoujo is, but you really really must watch Fruits Basket.

Shojo/Shoujo
The term shojo is used to describe manga marketed to females up to the age 18. These series tend to focus on romance from a young female protagonist's point of view. Emotions and social interaction play a big part in shojo manga. Shojo manga tries to mirror the lives of their readers. Viz Comics and TOKYOPOP have released English translations of some good shojo manga, including Moto Hagio's They Were Eleven, Shio Sato's Changeling and Nami Akimoto's Miracle Girls.

Lol, now I feel childish :(
