Michael Hastings was a hero

And yet Edward Snowden and Julian Assange are traitors. K.

At first I had no idea what to think of Edward Snowden (NSA dude) and Julian Assange (wikileaks) because I couldn't help but see both sides of the argument. Now there's the big Michael Hastings (whom just died) is a hero stuff all over the place. Granted I agree with the assessment of Hastings no doubt, my gripe is with the instant demonization of the other two.

Yes they signed a contract. They also signed said contracts believing that the governments they were working for weren't keeping under wraps the breaking the constitution that said government was founded upon.

God bless amurika.

hastings was probably superjudiciously murdered, but he was a traitor to america and thus justified

Who? Who? Who? and what?

then later, why should I care?

The older I get, the less I care about my imaginary freedoms and the more I care about peace.

Anyway, it's likely that when Snowden and Assange die they will also be hailed as heroes. Just like James Gandolfini.

Then you deserve neither freedom nor peace.

And yet I have both. Funny how the world works.
