Worn Great Staffs not dropping?
 

In EQ classic anytime you saw a newbie monster with a staff you had a 50/50 that it would be the highly valued cracked staff or the shitty worn great staff.

I haven't seen a single worn great staff so far and I'm level 18.

I don't know if that's the case. I haven't seen them in Feerrott, nor EC, nor Neriak, nor Oasis orcs, nor Najena skellies.

I had a couple drop just a few days ago when I was taking a character through Najena and Befallen. Only remember them because despite my immense wealth they gnaw at me every time one drops while I'm leveling an alt. Can't vouch for any other zones.

Some loot tables had the worn great staff and others did not. Should look much better next patch.

Seeing a decaying skeleton with a staff and it turns out to be worn great not cracked is the highs and lows of EQ in a nutshell!
