Project 1999 - TNF (Fight Night Event) - This Friday, June 7th 9pmEST

My fellow Norrathians, the time has once again come to put on your big boy pants as TNF will be gracing us this Friday Night (June 7th)

Why: because God

the first event will be captains picking teams. the second event will be comprised of a bunch of 3v3s (there are class restrictions on the 3man groups, more info below), and finally there will be a 4 or 5 man main event FFA for the champion title.

if the current champion can not make it, or does not show, his title will be stripped from him since i dont need him online for that.

as far as the 3 man teams, each group may only have one class from each of the following groups:
Casters: Wizard, Mage, Enchanter, Necro, Bard
Healer: Cleric, Druid, Shaman
Melee: Monk, Rogue, SK, Pally, Warrior, Ranger

ANY GROUPS FOUND RECEIVING BUFFS FROM ANYONE OUTSIDE OF THEIR 3 MAN GROUP WILL BE DT'd and DQ'd

Spectators are not allowed to attack other spectators or do anything to otherwise influence the outcome of any of the fights. Anyone caught doing so should expect a DT, and a suspension.

anyone caught hiding will be DTd, and DQd - hiding does not yield rewards in a pvp contest.

there will be no spells, songs, clickies, or anything else that allows for anything like shadow stepping. its to easy to be teleported out of the combat area, and its to hard for me to monitor everybody.

in the captains match, anyone that loses their GM given illusion is DQ'd (these illusions are not spells, and as such, are not vulnerable to dispells, pumices, etc. so use those at your own free will).

no, i have not decided what they will be.
They will go to the winning survivors of the captains team vs team, they will go to the winning 3 man group, and they will go to the winner of the main event.
The current champion will be one captain, and he will get to pick the second captain (if the champ cant make it, ill pick the captains). the two captains will random 1000 for first pick.
depending on the turn out for the 3v3s, we will either do a FFA with all the groups, or a quick bracket style tourny for the 3man groups.
the main event will include our current champion, and 2-4 contenders in a final FFA.
