49 Focused earth to 51 earth
 

Anyone have any idea if the focused 49 earth pet is better than the 51 unfocused? Just asking because there is such a small gap between.

My feeling would be the unfocused 51 earth would be better than a focused 49 earth. A fun way to test would be to duel another mage and let the two pets duke it out. Pretty sure I played around and tested this in the Freeport arena back in the day.

my experience is that the 51 earth does more DPS (root has DD), but 49 earth is cheaper to cast and possibly more hp. Both have their uses!
