Pets and Skill-ups
 

Anyone know if you can increase combat skills (e.g., defense) off light blue player pets? I know you could on live, just wondering if it works on P99 as well.

I remember this working on live also. It only worked in the arena though (not in duels) so there was a risk of getting PKd if you attempted to skill up this way.

Don't need to be in arena can just /duel. Been that way for alteast the last 5-6 years and i'm pretty sure longer. Thats for live. Not sure how it works here.

It might work that way on live now. I'm pretty sure dueling didn't allow skill ups thou in Velious era.

I know it worked on live, never thought of trying it here...I'll test it out with a buddy

My wife and I tested it out with her light blue shm pet for about 30 mins and got no skill-ups, so I am guessing it does not work on 99red. Instead we found a green mob that still gave xp (Sarnak Dragoon in LoIO at lvl 40) and maxed my chanters defense that way.
