Thanks to the wonderful GMs we have, I was able to learn who I traded the money to. I expected that things wouldn't go very well when I confronted the person I was told I handed the money to. Things went much better than expected, and my faith in honest people actually playing on this server was restored. Here is the conversation that took place when I talked to Ranbo, the person I handed the money to.

Needless to say, I told him to not worry about paying the rest of the money back as my own stupidity should receive some sort of punishment. Ranbo was a very nice guy and extremely receptive when I talked to him. So here's a shout out to him in this thread.

A rare person, I made this mistake once and was 20k poorer for it.
