Project 1999 - Player Models and Skins

Hi all! As you can see I've been registered on the forums here for a couple years now but I didn't actually start playing on the Red99 Server until last weekend. I was wondering if anyone - and I was hoping the admins might be able to help here - knew anything about where the player models and skins are stored in the EQ game files (the original models and skins - not the Luclin updates) and what (if any) programs I would need to extract them.

I was hoping to fire up photoshop and play with creating some custom skins in my spare time. I'm googling for answers as we speak but thought I'd ask here too in case anyone already knew. Thanks!
