Was sitting opposite some African students earlier today who said they were going to KFC - I dont know if my mind makes a note every time it happens but talk of fried chicken among the brothers is a common topic.
Also they all wear baseball caps of American baseball/football teams, and for baseball at least its not shown here...they can't all be Milwaukee Brewers fans, can they? :p Note: not intended as racist, just observations of people around me etc. |
Oh most racial stereotypes are quite true in that regard, though when it comes to food it's more of a cultural stereotype. I live in a largely hispanic urban city and work in a largely African-American/Jamaican city.
I'd cite the laundry list of specific examples but the white knight, white guilt troupe would be sadfaced and call me a racist. |
Lol, this is so funny, because it's so true. I work and hang out with a lot of People from Asia and Japan, and I could go on and on about their stereotypes that I see on a daily basis, haha. I don't think it's racist if it's true.

There's a stereotype that woman aren't good at math. Of course, woman are every bit as good at math as men are, but somehow far more men end up in engineering and mathematical disciplines. I think an explanation that's as good as any is girls growing up don't perceive math to be a female-reinforcing thing. It's kind of like how guys won't wear dresses or the color pink. So they lose interest and turn their focus on something else.
Here's a look that explores the topic of differences in the brain between genders: http://www.howstuffworks.com/life/me...ent-brains.htm I remember reading one study where grey/white matter was different in the genders.... Here: http://www.livescience.com/3808-men-...fferently.html Quote:
