These people have at least 7 kids, and have watched at least 2 die in front of them without doing anything but watching an 8month old waste away and die. And all they get is a 10 year probation that they have to take their kids for regular check ups?

Actually, prayer, as a subset of positive thinking, does have many beneficial effects on many disease processes. Will it stop you from dying? No. Is it more efficacious than placebo? Yes.

Your own Personal prayer and poisitive thinking will help, but thinking positively for someone else doesnt help them any.
