Login Issue
 

Hello everyone,

So I thought I did everything correctly from the startup guide but I'm unable to login to the game. I installed EQ Titanium, did not run the patcher, made my accounts and everything from EQEMU, installed it, selected Project 1999 server, it downloaded the patches, I get the login screen, enter my EQEMU server login data, and get the following message:

"A connection to the server could not be reached. Please check your internet connection to make sure you are online.

If the problem persists, please check our Network Status and Scheduled Downtime pages for updates. If the problem persists, please use our Help Link for further assistance."

I'm not sure exactly what's wrong, any pointers?

i had this same problem, but mine was i didn't make a login account on the EQEmu, if you forgot that step (which i over looked) that could be it

Thank you both so much for the suggestions. It turns out there was actually an issue with a security program I was running not letting me log on. After I disabled it (Spotpass) it worked just fine.

Thanks for posting your solution, I'll have to add "Is your firewall properly configured?" to my list of things to check on.
