I remember back in the day the treants in Karanas dropped a ton of cash. Is this still true?

They definitely did and still did a couple of years ago here. I dunno if it was ever nerfed.

I used to bind at the treants as a wizard and trade people's small coin for plat (for a modest fee)...was a nice little earner back in the day :)

It's still that why on live, don't see why it would be different here. Keep in mind you'll want an "atm" though, all those little coins add up fast!

Cool. I used to be the atm with my druid back in the day as well. I also remember though that if you do attack them you better be an evil race because of the faction hits.

You can carry a stack of gems on you, and sell to the centaur merchant back and forth until you just have PP and gems, made my necro able to stay there from 28-32

The Treant at the zone in at the Druid ring in North Karana has a NASTY dot. Watch out for that one.
