Velk Spiders vs. Kobolds
 
Currently Velk Spiders plus Kobolds share the same faction. It seems that currently every mob in Velk is on a blanket faction for the entire zone, but the Kobolds should be on their own phantom faction, and spiders/golems/gargs on another.

While there is no evidence supporting the above statement, a post from 2001 supports the notion that Werewolf form giving dubious faction to kobolds, but not to spiders. If spiders and golems were included, this person would most likely have written it, but it is not written that way.

Also would be safe to assume that golems and such around Velk's area see invis, since they are his guardians an protectors.

Can't find info supporting the golems seeing invis, but can't find it saying they don't see invis either.
Based on that: My argument for why golems and such should see invis is: ice giants and fire giant see invis and protect naggy and vox, should be the same way for them protecting Velketor.

What are they replying to? The meaning of the ‘also’ seems to really depend on the context of the reply.

So the also meant “in addition to bards”

“Collaboration made me dubious, nothing conned anything else”.

Sounds like collaboration made everything in zone dubious.

Perhaps the kobolds are on same faction but have a race mod too? Some NPCs should have their own ‘racist’ modifiers in addition to the usual for that faction?

I'm assuming its like using skelly or wolf form to "change" your faction to merchants/guards. They recognize the race a PC is and change their aggro status in addition to whatever faction they have
