Mage quests - Beyond the norm

Besides Clay Bracelet quest (Eye of Zomm clicky) and Pet Focus Items quests are there any *good* Mage quests worth pursuing?

Not going to say Epic:)

https://wiki.project1999.com/Prestid...r%27s_Trousers - Or whatever city faction you have. This will save you some mana when chaining pets, and Burnout III is very similar to Burnout IV.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Coldain...r_Shawl_Quests - If you want to get your FT1 item from a quest. I find it fun, but not everyone does, and FT1 is easier to get on cloth casters.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Coldain_Ring_Quests - Ring 9 is one of the best GCD items you can get in terms of stats. Much better than something like Shrunken Goblin Earring, or you don't need to waste an inventory slot on Star of Eyes. I wouldn't recommend spending the DKP on getting Ring 10 for a Mage, but you could.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Duennan_Shielding_Ring - Really nice item for pulling in raids. Gives you a few charges of Harmshield.

DSM's list is great, all of those items are fantastic for a mage. I'll add a few more things.

https://wiki.project1999.com/The_Mystic_Cloak - Easy quest to do, also an interesting utility item to have.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Regal_B...Bathezid_Quest - Just the first ring is pretty easy to get, and not bad at all.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Tarton%27s_Wheel - It's a wizard quest, but the Star of Eyes is a cool item, you can also use it as a GCD refresher.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Aid_the_Dar_Brood - Nice non robe chest/back item, super easy to do if your guild kills Zlandi

I'd also add that having a Velious city armor bracer/boot/robe is also handy. All of those clickies have their uses.

Is there a specific tactic you are using the Velious City Armor Bracer for? Unless I am mistaken, that bracer has Reclaim Energy on it. This is already covered by the focus items, and they are instant click.

Oh for sure, once I got my epic I stopped using the focus items, so it's a lot easier to click the bracer than find an item in inventory. Also for folks who are using 50+ pets but don't have focus staves it saves a slot in your bags, and swapping etc.

I suppose it's more of a convenience to have it available, but the SS bracer isn't bad at all, it's not much of a sacrifice to wear that over something else to have the utility handy, and it saves an inventory slot. For lower level characters you're right, it's superfluous.

Im always counting slots because even though my mage is set up for raiding I still like to put that epic to work and farm plat. I've got three bag slots open even with resist gear and potions, I'm super OCD about bags and weight, open space etc.

That makes complete sense. I am also sensitive about bag space. This is what I thought you were talking about, but I didn't want to make that assumption and miss some really cool trick I never knew about:)
