FF16

Ya I have a ps5 already. Played Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2 here. Enjoyed the visuals and gameplay of both.

Is FF16 worth the purchase?

PS. What's with $70 being the new price of AAA. Did inflation finally hit disk prices?

I haven't played it but I've heard good things. I mostly wanted to chime in on the video game prices bit.

I remember in like 2005 or 2006 video games were 49.99 and the moved it to 59.99 and all of my friends were losing our minds. I would have never expected another $10 hike again so soon. $70....more like $75 after tax....is just insane for a single game. I'd imagine $99 games being the regular thing in another 10-15 years.

Let us know if up pick up ff16. 2023 has dropped too many good games! I'm going to be busy with Zelda and D4 for now.

new NES games cost 110 bucks in 1990 in today's money if you account for inflation.

i remember buying some Grade A dogshit ones before SNES came out also

Harry Hogge:
All right. While we're still under a caution, I want you to go back out on that track and hit the pace car.

Cole Trickle:
Hit the pace car?

Harry Hogge:
Hit the pace car.

SNES games were $60-70 new, the fact that videogames don't cost $100+ as a result of inflation today is pretty incredible

also FFXVI is really really great, A++ would recommend

One of the issues these days is there's plenty of free to download apps for kids and endless "free to play" games on Steam. As well as youtube being a thing.
