Tanking multiple casters?
 
Position the adds around a corner (out of line of sight but in melee range) to prevent them from spamming nukes / etc on you.

Turns that impossible solo fight possible.

Thinking about making some short youtube vids showcasing tricks like these.

Wait for one to cast, then move the other one!

Mobs also don't cast when feared AND rooted right? They still melee if in range but won't cast, I swear I read that here somewhere.

Great tip Jimjam.

BTW, one great place to use this is the Charasis Basement. You can root mob A just around the corner of that pagoda thing, and then go fight mob B without having to worry about mob A casting on you.

First time someone showed me that if I stand “here” and I pull that mob only two come instead of standing “over there” all four come… that was the day my mind opened to what this game could be and I’ve been playing it since then.

Great strats like these WoW would fix.

Yes, you are correct. If you fear a mob when it is rooted, you interrupt their casting. I believe they won't be able to cast spells if you are out of melee range. I am not sure about the part that they can't cast spells if you are in melee range, not sure if I have tried that specific experiment.
