Monks: RoTWF + Epic

So, what keys do you have these bound to? You can't cast two spells at once, so how are YOU doing it? I'd assume most have one set to Flying kick key and then what are you doing with the other?

Is there a way to activate an item via a chat macro?

Right now I just have my robe on hotkey 6 and i spam that whenever I kick (hotkey 2). what scripting do you use to combine a few of these? I think something like /doaction # does certain skills, but i don't know the exact command and the numbers that go with them. thanks

how i had my hotkeys set up was the following:
1. Melee attack
2. Flying kick
3. RoTWF
4. Epic
5. FD
6. Sneak
7. Bind wound
8. INC (pulling macro for group/raid)
9. Mend

just my suggestion -- makes everything a lot easier
this only works well if you also use A,W,S,D + Q,E for movements

eeeeew, i need to have stand and FD really close to each other, so i can do my ninja moves. But you dont even have stand on the list =/

ewww. Make a macro that does the following (in addition to a regular FD key)

/autoattack off
/doability 1 (assuming FD is ability #1 in the ability tab)
/stand

Yes, you definitely need this. This will work as a way to clear aggro quickly when you steal it from the tank.

You can also add "/autoattack on" to line 4.

I posted this on the "Monk Soloing" thread:

EVADE MACRO
/pause 5, /attack off
/do ability x (x being the FD ability)
/do ability y (y being the sneak ability - more effective on mobs over level 35)
/stand
/attack on

I highly recommend using the half-second pause. I also think adding the sneak in will VASTLY increase the chances of full memory wipe and not just the instant agro loss from FDing. The biggest thing about this macro is while it will work when you have agro, you should actually be mashing it all through the fight BEFORE you get agro. I don't see enough monks doing this.

I bind the sit/stand to my X keybutton so I can just hit FD and quickly use X to stand back up

That will free up the space on your action bar and you won't have to add stand to your macro

Moved Ducking to F key, much more convenience

/autoattack off
/doability 1 (assuming FD is ability #1 in the ability tab)
/doability 2(sneak)
/stand
/autoattack on
