Just wish Rogean would give the people what they want.

This post probably will not be read by him but... I encourage you to be a man of the people and grant the wish of 100's of Everquest PvP player. Something we have been asking kindly for for a very long time.

Would you put out a server thats going to be nowhere near as popular as your other server for 10x the headache? I wouldnt.

This.

What is the incentive for staff to wipe and bring back all the problems that red doesn't have right now.

Honest question.

It isn't hard to make a red server with minimal effort needed. The blue server is a much bigger headache even when comparing populations. There should be 0 need for dev intervention with PvE on a red server. They can set up the server to have minimal GM involvement.

Take out global ooc, get rid of PnP and let it be known it is the wild wild west with community policing. Hardcode fixes for training if you want minimal petitions.

The only upkeep would be checking into people hacking and making sure your lead GM isn't RMTing.

Yeah, you obviously are clueless about the people who play these servers.

Or he could make another blue server, with a different ruleset and have 100s of grateful players playing it.

Or another red server where you bring back the crazy people trolling the forums and the population is 40 people in 6 months.

Another blue server would not bring back a ton of people. It would be the same population it has now within 6 months. Red99 had 200+ people years after launch even with all the issues it had with GM corruption and poor handling of the server. They could run a much better server this time with minimal effort and actually increase the overall population, not that increasing the overall population is even a big deal for them.

Yes you would have trolls but who cares, why do they even need to pay attention to trolls? At most you need to have a guide that logs in and bans forum accounts. It isn't a big deal.

I've never been so disappointed in all my life.
