list mechanic and pained soul camp
 
Duplicates are currently dropping, but going to waste because of /list mechanic, even if no one else is around and interested in looting.

Guess this should be camped in twos for now.

Also, it's pretty silly on Ancient Jarsath, as half the time you aren't in range of the list when you encounter him, since he just sits up and runs around so long.

Even worse is the FD necro holding VKR hostage in seb, he can't kill it, but is number one on list. Common theme.

The latter never happened on live, ever. The former 100% did, just in a different form (because live had paid GMs and we don't): 8.2.3 Contested Spawn Complaints

Can confirm the #2 person is not able to loot the duplicate even if they camp it with person #1, so one is always forced to rot.

Also please spare the possible edge case scenarios, bug forums are for simple awareness of an issue.

Apologies, I was just trying to mention how to save the duplicate from going to waste ... but neither that nor my defense of /list belongs in the bug forum.

/list is an abdication of the entire premise of an MMO, Staff guidelines, and counter-culture to the very idea of playing with other people.

This is not necessary if we have an established framework that doesn't change at a moment's notice nor by which particular member of Staff you speak with at the time.

You're posturing for no reason, Loramin, and attempting to justify a detrimental non-classic implementation because it's "easier".

No one plays on this emulator or supports it because it's "easy".
