Question about a Duo...
 

So I got my GF to start playing the game and she wants to play a rogue, so I am attempting to at least play a class that somewhat matches. The only 2 classes that I would like to play however are Wizard or Paladin. I was wondering what would be a better choice? I know they are both radically different, but in between when we can form groups I'd like to play something that we can at least advance together as.

The way I see it is that with a Wizard after level 29 when I get my snare I can hit a big nuke and then snare kite while she backstabs. The bad part of this duo will be getting to 29, and we will probably find it hard to form groups.

As a Paladin I'd be face tanking while she backstabs and then heal myself after fights until I'm OOM. This seems like it would be slower as a duo, but we would be able to form groups much quicker as I would be a tank.

What are your guys' opinion?

Paladin + Rogue is a pretty sick duo in the right spots.

pally / rogue would work well if you stick to undead. This is actually pretty easy to accomplish from lvl 1 to 60

Alright so it looks like the general consensus is Paladin eh? So Wizard wouldn't be viable at all?

nothing about wizard links up with rogue except being able to port for your millions of corpse runs?

ya necro is probly the way to go honestly they have so much utility to assist the rogue and honestly there heals arnt too bad.
