Best bard race?
 

I'm kind of drawn to wood elf atm.

I made a wood elf because my bard back in the day was a wood elf but if you want best stats and skills-wise half-elf is number 1.

What makes Half Elves better than Wood Elves? Don't Welves start with higher base dexterity?

Male Wood Elf. Take off that breastplate and show those sick abs off 24/7 imo

Human.

All 3 races make fine bards. Half elfs are thought to be the best because they are a happy middle-ground between the STR/STA of humans and the AGI/DEX of wood elfs.

Half Elf:
5 less STR than Human
5 less STA than Human
15 more AGI than Human
10 more DEX than Human
5 more CHA than Human

5 more STR than Wood Elf
5 more STA than Wood Elf
5 less AGI than Wood Elf
5 more DEX than Wood Elf
Same CHA as Wood Elf

Starting race as a bard/rogue is irrelevant. All that really matters is Mask of Deception=Dark elf.

Half-Breed
