Lexicon should be 4 slots, not 10. http://www.e-douguya.com/eq/wiz/img/combine.jpg http://web.archive.org/web/200010171...research.shtml Quote:

All the research containers should be like this. The container itself didn't appear on Allakhazam until around 2003 and wasn't updated to 10 slots until sometime between 2006 and 2007. I think there was a spell research overhaul with LoY in 2003 that required the larger container. Anyone have any further details? |

I was curious about this. I saw 4 slots on the Mac emulator and couldn't find any evidence when I searched around. This seems legit though I don't know how they would make this change without getting a ton of items deleted from people who use these as bags. If the devs have a clever solution to this problem, sign me up for classic. |

There might be a way. They could arrange it so the old containers only display 4 slots. When the player takes an item out it would get filled by one of the items that isn't displayed, and so on until only 4 items remain in the container. That would give everyone a chance to rearrange their stuff without too much hassle. |

These 10 slot research books are commonly used as containers since they are easy to obtain and are cheap. Please make sure the fix is introduced in such a way that people don't lose half their inventory items. At the very least, make a large announcement indicating when items in these containers will poof. |

Another option is to change them all into large/deluxe sewing kits when Velious launches. |

this makes me feel warm and fuzzy |

I wonder if they can make the change and have any items in slot 5-10 from those bags get cursored? I guess you could swap them with Deluxe Sewing kits or something. |
