Well in order to play a ranger and enjoy it. Know your weaknesses and strengths, also have a group of friends who will play with you no matter what your class is.

As far as raids go... I've tanked Trak and VS (Survived both encounters), Islands in Sky so it is possible

In Seb I pulled most of the time in various parts that didn't require a rogue to get into

Not gonna lie and say it isn't a challenge at times, but I find it to be the most fun class for me.

As an aside, I do wish there AAs because EQ and AM3 were amazing heh, especially after years of rangers suck jokes ;)
