Dunno if its been said or its known by all but for melee skill ups you will get the very best results fighting Light blue con mobs. Dark blue cons will give good gains as well just not as often as LB cons. Hope that helps some people.

I have played a rogue to 58, a warrior to 55 and a necro to 52 on this server. I never once had to complain about the weaponskill skill ups. They were always everquest1 slow but were manageable. On all my characters I made an (OCD) point to get each and every weaponskill capped for the level of the character.

I started a new Paladin which is still currently level 5... this means 1hb 2hb 1hs 2hs (skipping piercing) should be at a skill of 30 before I level to 6. So far I have had to kill this character back down to the start of level 5 a total of 6 times. Still my weaponskills are all only up to 23 skill... throwing in the towel on this server for now till this is patched.
