Actually the system is incredibly better for newer players are you dense? In nihilum you are about three years worth of dkp behind the top 25 raiders. You will be 100th in line for vulak loot. In a bid dkp system people have to spend their dkp meaning you could be on top within a month. You decide what items are important to you.

Also, when the top DKPers all want a good item... the item can go for a HUGE amount of DKP because they all bid against it... which in turn resets the DKP.

If raid items were a set value of DKP, the system wouldn't work. But since it's a bid system everyone is in control of what they get or spend and what they consider an item to be worth.

also the fact that u can get dkp with plat and non raid loot basically opens the door for rmt, and lowers the inscentive to raid and get the job done

Heartbrand doesn't need to ask people to exploit or train. They do it willingly without being asked. Ask Stasis about training in Sebilis, that is all he knows how to do.
