It goes to credibility, a key component of a presidential election. It couldn't be more relevant. Of course people were celebrating in other countries. They hate America. That's irrelevant. It has nothing to do with Trump propagating urban myths.
Wow there are some stupid human beings posting in this thread. The news report says that eight men were on a rooftop celebrating. Can you please tell me how you get thousands and thousands out of eight men? 100% vindicated!

News reported a "swarm" of unknown count celebrating originally. This was paired with imagery of thousands celebrating abroad. There were also some Mossad arrested who were seen celebrating that day, reported separately.
You seem quite invested in accusing anyone who doesn't care to split hairs about thousands celebrating 9/11 in NJ, when in fact millions no doubt celebrated it around the world and the news reported extensively on that, with pictures, in the war-drum leadup to our interventions for Israel, of being retarded. Let me guess: the talmudvision told you Bernstein will spend us out of our crushing debt, and you believed it. See, the difference between us is that I was stupid enough to watch TV back then, and so I know exactly what the Don is talking about, while you're stupid enough to still be watching TV today.
