Both servers need players, so it's honestly a brilliant decision. Most blue players have a strong enough aversion to red that they'll funnel into the beta, where they are needed. If it works out to increase red population as a side effect, that's only a good thing for the health of our servers.

GMs know red is dying/dead so this is the best way they can think to get players on there(by forcing them for a weekend lol). :(

Not only does red need to be shut down, internet porn needs to be shut down so there are absolutely no distractions to this Velious testing period.

If you train people on beta, do you get banned on blue or red?

Cecily 11-24-2014 05:43 PM

Neither. It's called testing pathing.

To keep all the redies on red.

Great idea. The best thing for Project1999 is for Velious to come out, and I'm glad that this is the focus.

If you up drop rates to 100%, then you might as well allow people to just summon the items for turn in. Testing drop rates during beta is important to avoid unnecessary issues on live.

I'm well aware of that thread. And if you actually look at the armor quests completed you'd know that will NEVER get anywhere close to completion in time at the current drop rate. Upping the drop rate for testing purposes is perfectly fine considering the hundreds of raids that have already taken place and the results it has yielded. It can be reverted back for a final beta build to make sure everything is working as intended.
