I played for a few hours last night and I did not experience any lag at all. I was averaging about a 85 MS ping. My main is now level 4, woot!

This kind of thing just doesn't make sense to me. What is this guy hoping to accomplish? He obviously hasn't succeeded in doing more than temporarily knocking the server offline. It appears that he can't touch the new server in any meaningful way, so why keep this up? Is this some long term nerd rage thing? Is he concerned his script kiddy e-peen might disappear if he gives up?

If you are responsible for the DOS attacks and you are reading this, give it up. It sucks your friend was banned/KS'ed/teased/lol'ed at/(insert generic OMGYOUSUXXORS!!1one rant here), but it's done. DOS'ing the server hasn't worked. You won a temporary victory, but the community rallied behind the devs and the server is back up. Not only that, but whatever attempt you are pulling to grief us now has barely put a dent in the server. Give it up and move on. I seriously doubt that any of the devs are going to reinstate your friend.

hes still doing it? heh ive played everyday since server has come up and havnt even experienced a spec of lag..i wouldve never known it was being attacked lol

I think I need to start a service where I track down DDOS attackers, corporate hackers, virus/malware writers and then kill them. I'd bet my left nut, that some President of some large corporation has been sitting at his PC, only to have it infected by some virus, calls IT, they come and ghost his machine, telling him about the virus, and he said "where can I find out where this $%^* lives? I'll have him killed..."

I'd make millions! muhahaha
