Last I heard (weeks ago) its gonna be diverted, he is gonna just sit in a mental hospital until hes "cured". toss em a deal for 5 years probation because the victim stops caring bc the guy is such a mess.

that's why there is no news on it, not the story they want. mom dying thing + obvious struggle with a lifetime of mental illness.
