What mobs is a mage pet killing 4-5 at a time? I totally need to hit up that camp!

I'm killing blue aviaks right now and if I get 2 I need to chain heal/nuke or I'm toast.

Say your pet pulls 4-5 things, this means you have to cycle each target and cast the spell a few times. But its hard to tell whether you cycled all of them or not if they are right on top of eachother. Additionally, the pet could only be hitting one mob, so that little 4 damage nuke can pull agro off your pet and send the mobs on you, and then you are pretty screwed. When I fight multiple mobs I find myself standing for near the entirety of the fight rather than sitting which I could have been doing. Surprisingly it can make leveling quite a bit less efficient than it could be, but its still way more efficient than most classes, and curbs afk leveling a bit which was their intention.

Using up one of the 8 spell slots is not a big deal cause I mean c'mon what are you casting... your an effing mage. You got DD and well DD.

Does /assist not work on pets? They're NPC's so i'm not sure :/.

In any case:

/assist <petname>
/cast 1

Or:

/pet attack
/pause 5, /cast 1

Not too much effort >.>. Adjust the pause period as necessary.

yes, /assist always works unless you have yourself targeted. If your target doesn't change (and assuming you are in range, of course), then your target doesn't have anything targeted.

I always have a hotkey just for /assist, as well as one for /assist tankname.
