Couldn't agree more. Put them in the worst prison in the country for ever. Wishing for death and not getting it is far worse then just going to sleep for ever.

i agree. death sentence doesn't really accomplish anything that a life sentence without the possibility of parole does.

the cost is about the same as putting someone to death is, in many cases, more expensive due to appeals, court costs, etc.

But really guys, the actors in this story are all victims. They are all suffering from the same disease. Meth addiction is insidious; it's the only only drug shown to drive a mother to rape her own child. That's usually the type of behavior reserved for alcoholic fathers, who we all agree are just sick, not evil.

I think these folks can and should be detoxed and rehabilitated. Then we can send them around to high schools to emcee at motivational anti-drug assemblies:

"I always used to say, 'Not me, I've got it under control.' Then one day you rape the head clean off a kid and you know: I need help."
