Still getting the spells not updated message and still can't download the spells from the getting started page, yet 400+ people are online. Is this a matter of my patience or is something wrong on this end?

Would you mind linking the thread? Ive updated the files but i still can't login.

I cannot either. I had same problem updating on changes V7. Resorted to using Duxa's installer program. But its not updated for this update. I have placed the new files in their appropriate folders overwriting old one in the process, but I still get the error on the character select screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

Since the plee's for help stopped I assume you guys got it figured out. I had the same problem with V7, couldn't open the d/l file. said it was corrupted no matter how many times i d/l'd it. had to have a guildmate email me the files.

Sometimes, randomly, I will try to log in and i will get the spells need updated message at char select. trying a 2nd time usually gets me through.
