aid also like to point out that the the opportunity cost is not alternative uses of the additional time this item was on the market, because selling the item is not a mutually exclusive activity. He was undoubtedly selling other items alongside this one. The opportunity cost would be the other items that he may or may not have been able to purchase due to decreased liquidity. If you want to asses the opportunity cost of his time investment, you'd need to look at the entirety of what he is doing with his time relative to alternative uses. He's not spending all of 3 days only trying to sell that one item ^^
