How the fuck could you possibly lose to a mage as a bard? I don't even understand that.

I went straight for melee + occlusion + fufil's + snare. That was a mistake. I also didn't keep Elemental Rhythms up after the first few seconds of the fight, which would have allowed me to bounce all of his spells. I got too focused on doing damage with weapons and a chant and stopped twisting Elemental Rhythms in. That was another mistake. Both of our HP bars were going down about the same, and then he chained a bunch of Scars of Sigil and by the time I tried to flee, I was far too low.

I have made casters gate before, but I want to start getting the YT. That's why I went in for melee. Next time, I would start with chants and try to range his spells; but I haven't gotten to practice that very much so I honestly might get hit anyway. I guess I gotta pvp more.

Anyway, what would you have done differently? I'd love to hear input.

Good tip. I didn't have Denon's Bereavement memorized because everyone else has been resisting it lately. That's another thing that would have changed the fight. That, or even mez actually, or I guess a Bellow could interrupt...but Bereavement would be better because it's more damage. It's been a while since I fought someone that would work on, so I generally don't memorize it for PvP anymore. I will try to consider it if I have time before my next fight.

If you cant lol at elemental for his (what i have to assume) armless playing eq with a pencil in his mouth to use they keyboard and his 1 and only foot on the mouse. Well then you must be a horrendesly boring person irl. Cus he manages to never ever dissapoint.
