Make Sleeper itemized and killable with a long respawn

Ravager 12-02-2014 10:22 AM

99.99% sure if Sleeper is awoken, there will be no reset, cuz, not classic. Most you can hope for is another progression server after and then cry about it when that sleeper is awoken too.

Menobank 12-02-2014 10:36 AM

or idk maybe they wont allow sleeper to be awoken at all? since we will never be going beyond velious why even have him be able to be awoken?

Daldaen 12-02-2014 10:42 AM

I'd be very curious to see a server by server list of when the sleeper was woken on each.

How many occured in Velious, how many in Luclin etc.

Found this list. Can't vouch for accuracy though.

I do know Keepers of the Faith (Prexus) went dick and woke Sleeper in November 2001 before Luclin. Just as other people started getting enough keys to get into ST. https://web.archive.org/web/20011130...fthefaith.org/

Al'Kabor -- I think we all know what happened there.

it'd be sad to see if go, i'd love to get down there and fight some.

SamwiseRed 12-02-2014 11:36 AM

nilbog already said he would not want the sleeper reset. sometimes i hate his classic mentality (mqing epics, recharging, ect) but at least he is consistent and you always know where he stands.

heartbrand 12-02-2014 01:44 PM

I think he said classic is not to reset, but there was a dev poll thread about it that I guess is not binding whatsoever but seemed to point to the *remote possibility* of something being done. Either way I'm sure sleeper will be woken up pretty quick on both servers.

Grimjaw 12-02-2014 02:18 PM

it would be dumb to build a classic server 99% then say "screw the cherry ontop, im going with a banana"
