getting DKP for doing other things other then raid is kinda retarded, whats the point in showing up to the raid when u can just MQ jboots and camp lev cloaks and VP key pieces and then show up for that 1 raid for that one item. If you are going to Give DKP for other things then raiding, Then more important and rare pieces and firsts should goto the people who put their time in raiding, some raids go for a few hours and depending on the DKP system and when its taken migth take awhile to add up. Where as i could get my buddy to sit in SK and camp quill ( let me know when its up and then bam i get DKP) You will see that happen when people start to accumulate more DKP they will start helping friends out. Can you give spyglass's and gobby earrings for DKP too? any item or just Lev cloaks? Lev cloak kinda pointless unless you have 2 or 3 clickys anyway. I guess its nice for melee's.

A lot of people hating on the free market. People who do raid decided they'd rather spend their DKP on those items. Do you know better than them what they should spend their DKP on? Lot of socialists up in dis thread.

Selling items for DKP sounds like a terrible system to me. It might be fine for people who want to spend DKP on other things, but it's awful for people who raid to get raid loot. I'd probably be annoyed too if some asshat who raids once a month gets priority on no-drop raid loot.

For 'the fairest loot system' it sounds suspiciously stacked in favor of the long-time players who have loads of shit to sell and very little to gain from fear/hate clears or Nagafen kills.

Should just buy HB a new PC for DKP imo, solid precedent on this server
