Warrior druid will be a robust duo, doesn't matter if its limited compared to some higher tier duos. You guys can both get to level 60 easily together and get to be bad ass classes you love.

I am intrigued, however, by the suggestion of a Necro/Shaman/Monk trio. I will talk to the others about it; It would be fun to create a trio of Iskar.

That sounds like something that would indeed be something pretty fun to do. SK is also a viable alternative to the monk in that team, if your friend really wants to stick to the warrior-esque aesthetics. The ceiling is a bit lower but it's not going be much of a difference. it much more important that you enjoy the class(es) you pick to play than worring about marginal power differences.

Its probably the best trio out there that doesn't use an enchanter. Highly recommended for a new / fresh start static group like you have going.

Best general usage trio not using enc is nec/sha/bard.

That is an interesting assertion and would love to see it expanded. How would they be used together at the different level ranges?

3 necros is the answer. Hardest thing to deal with is stuff being too easy.

Yeah pretty much, and everyone has feign death so only legendary screw ups should result in deaths.
