Spicy ginger and nutmeg start with a sweet honey and orange peel finish, all with an undertone of spicy pine and clover. Based off of a traditional wassail recipe. This beer is expected to be consumed at slightly below room temperature to satisfy the seasonal tongue and also keep you toasty warm. ABV hopefully in the 7% range.

Next on the list: a spiced bourbon stout. Light chocolate stout with oak spicing alongside a black pepper and Kentucky bourbon flavour. Vanilla note finishes. Also expected to be a room-warm beer for those winter months. Expected ABV in the 6-7% range. It might end up higher~

christmas beers are the best when done right, wtb sample shipped 2 house. srs.

Estimated ABV of the Christmas Ale: registered 1.054G. If everything ferments correctly I'm expecting 7.3%. The yeast should hold out till the end so this is going to be awesome!

Current smell of apartment: faint fuck-your-nose-up ginger and nutmeg. Also biscuity yeast. om nom.

Just popped open some bottles of a delicious winter ale i brewed a few weeks back. The freshly poured head is the PERFECT amount. I'm bottling my smoked chocolate porter tomorrow. Expecting a HIGH gravity ale out of that one.

My christmas ale just came out the basement, added a few nugs of clove this year, very very pleased sitting around 6% with a good thick malty base. homebrewing skill increased to (101)
